Hometown Author visits Silsbee This Weekend


Thriller Author Tim Sojka, visits his hometown this weekend. The Silsbee High School trained writer is excited to attend the 4th Annual Spring in the Big Thicket Festival Saturday from 9am to 4pm.


He will be signing his novel until supplies run out.


His novel Payback Jack recently spent 4 days as the #1 Legal and Suspense Thriller on Amazon. The author has been interviewed by Fox, and several newspapers about the Houston, Winnie and Silsbee-based novel.

Sojka credits the Silsbee Library and Silsbee Elementary, Junior High, High School Libraries as the places he learned his love of novels. He also credits great teachers like

Ms. LaTouff, Seabrook, Nash, Reeves, Voigtman, Arnold, Johnson, Edwards, Hart, Grissom, and Dickard


for helping a kid with rampant ADHD survive school


Sojka, is especially complimentary of the Silsbee Bee for helping him publish his first works.


Sojka hopes to see old friends and show is gratitude for his hometown.
